Our StorY
Located at 36 east 30th street, we are a full service photography rental studio. Studio A on the top floor is Manhattan's only authentic north-light studio. We carry the latest in up-to-date equipment and pride ourselves in creating an intimate, professional setting for all types of productions.
Highlight is part of the Penumbra Foundation (also located in our our building). The Penumbra Foundation is a non profit organization that brings together the Art and Science of Photography through education, research, outreach, public and residency programs.
Our spacious rooftop can be booked for shoots as well.
We are Manhattan’s one-stop-shop for all things photography!
Covid Best Practice Guidelines
Highlight Studios has been closely following the public health situation regarding COVID-19. We are committed to the safety of our community. In order to create a safe and comfortable space for clients and employees, we are implementing the following measures. Any client not adhering to these safety guidelines will kindly be asked to leave the building.
We are adhering strictly to the following regulations:
Disposable masks, hand sanitizer & soap will be available throughout.
Our staff will only be in contact with crews if absolutely needed.
All studios and equipment will be wiped down and sanitized before and after any bookings.
Any crew members with COVID-related symptoms will not be allowed to enter the building.
